Cornhusker Motor Lines Inc. is an asset based transportation company founded in 1979 with an emphasis on the logistics service. However, this does not mean that this is the only type of service offered. CMLI also provides its customers with services of loads transportation and deliveries almost anywhere in the US as well as some places in Canada. The area of service is defined this way: the Omaha service area includes Kansas City, Des Moines and Sioux; The Paragould City AR. service area includes Memphis, TN. and Jonesboro, AR. From these locations, there are services offered to Southern California, the East Coast, the Midwest (Indianapolis and Chicago), and the Southeast (Atlanta).
Another service offered by Cornhusker Motor Lines is a public contract warehouse, which began in 1996. For this, CMLI has over 165,000 square feet of dry storage. This service includes long and short term storage, cross docking, light assembly, packaging, repack, distribution and warehousing leasing among others.
Cornhusker's fleet consists of 360 trailers and 180 trucks that are constantly maintained in the facilities mentioned above. All the units are also equipped with Qualcomm System to offer the customers a better service, and to give them the information they require at the moment they need it. In the past two years, CMLI won the first prize of Fleet Safety Award. These awards were given because of the high standards in safety that CMLI maintains at all times.
