FORT LAUDERDALE First Fleet Corporation, a national provider of asset management, financial and operational support to the nations private truck fleets, today announced the promotion of Peter J. Flynn to Senior Vice President Lease Origination Group and his appointment to the Management Group. Flynn will be responsible for managing First Fleets lease origination function, one of the most critical operations for the company for generating new sales and attracting new customers, with the sales team reporting directly to him.
Prior to his promotion, Flynn served as Vice President, Portfolio/Pricing since May 2003, where he designed customized lease structures and financial support models for sales executives. During his tenure in that position, lease origination volume exceeded $180 million in committed transactions, making 2004 a record year in First Fleets history.
Flynn joined First Fleet in 1999 as a member of the Remarketing Sales team, where he developed and executed marketing strategy for the companys off-lease inventory. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility within the company, including Assistant Vice President, Lease Pricing, Vice President, Portfolio Management and Vice President, Lease Funding Group.
Since joining First Fleet seven years ago, Peter has been involved in virtually every aspect of the companys performance.
