Dahlonega wants to hire drivers that can carry on with this tradition. The drivers must be at least 23 years old with 2 years of experience. A stable and verifiable work history is also required.
All drivers must have Class A CDL, pass a substance test, meet DOT qualifications, live within the 100 miles from the terminal, and pass a DOT physical.
An Acceptable MVR and no major violations in the last 3 years are also required.
Dahlonega Transport offers an average of 2500 miles a week. Every mile is paid on practical computer miles. They also pay $100 a month for safety and an on time bonus payment.
