It has been announced that Warren Transport, Inc. has joined forces with the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) by participating in the Highway Watch Program. This program is designed to train truckers, most of whom regularly utilize our nations highways, bridges, seaports, warehouse districts and industrial zones, to watch for and recognize unusual and potentially dangerous situations that might be terrorist activities in the planning stages or in progress. Each trained member of the Highway Watch Program is assigned a unique identification number and the ability to contact the appropriate authorities when they see something they have been trained to recognize as a potential threat to public security. The program has resulted in the thwarting or solving of several serious crimes. Warren has already trained several dozen of its independent contractor owner/operators and plans to ultimately train all of their nearly 700 professional operators.
