Southeastern Freight Lines announces the opening of a new service center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Southeastern will begin operations on July 18, 2005. The company currently serves Florida with nine service centers in Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola, Tampa, Ft. Myers, West Palm Beach and Miami along with Valdosta, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama.
With the opening of Ft. Lauderdale, Southeastern will now have three facilities strategically located to serve the Tri-County area. Southeasterns Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach service centers combined give the company more than 300 doors to serve southern Florida. Southeastern will be better suited to meet the growing needs of our valued customers by offering increased flexibility for same-day deliveries in the Tri-County area and also offering additional Northbound schedules for freight originating in South Florida.

Southeasterns 89-door Ft. Lauderdale facility will include a 12,336 square foot warehouse capable of holding 592 pallets. With 45 drivers, the Ft. Lauderdale service center will make pickup and delivery as far north as Coral Springs, Parkland and Deerfield Beach and as far south as Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Hallandale, Florida.
