The Phillips family has owned and operated Builders Transportation since 1954. Frank P. Phillips is the President and his sons: Frank P. Jr., John P. and Gene B. are the Vice Presidents.
They own and lease 240 tractors and 320 trailers. Among their trailers are: 45 foot air ride axle trailers, 48 foot air ride spread axle trailers, 45 foot tandem trailers and 45 to 65 foot extendible trailers.
Builders Transportation offers services across the United States as a common carrier, contract carrier and brokerage authority. The company has Intra-state operating authority in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Mississippi, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Texas and most recently in Ontario, Canada.
Builders mainly transports wire products, coil steel, sheet and structural steel, aluminum products, building materials, cast iron and steel pipe and machinery.
