Hurricane Service Updates as of 10/14/2005
FedEx Freight is progressing toward near-normal pickup and delivery service to all ZIP codes affected by the recent hurricanes. However, pickup and delivery may be delayed in some areas because of damage or access restrictions by local authorities. There may also be early cutoffs due to accessibility issues or curfews in the affected areas.
Revised information and service updates will be posted as they become available.
Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Freight Service Guide, the FedEx Freight money-back guarantees are not in effect for shipments in the affected areas at this time.
Coastal and inland areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas continue to experience the effects of Hurricane Katrina. As a result, FedEx Freight operations, including pick-ups and deliveries, are significantly impacted with very limited access to conduct business in these areas. Specifically, we are discouraging shipments into/from the following zip code ranges:
