(Chicago-February 15, 2005) USF Reddaway Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of USF Corporation (NASDAQ:USFC), announced today that 87 of its drivers have reached the professional milestone of driving one million consecutive miles without a preventable accident. USF Reddaway is celebrating their Million Mile Drivers during the first quarter of 2005 with dinners and honors across the carrier's territory.
Tom Solheim, Director of Safety for USF Reddaway, said, "TO qualify for this award, each driver had one million miles consecutively without a preventable accident. At our company this takes most drivers nine to ten years".
At a series of twelve dinners, these special drivers will be awarded A Million Mile Safety Award ring ot watch (their choice), a Million Mile Certificate and a Million Mile Safety Award. Special Million Mile Safety decals will be also aplied to each driver's assigned power point.
