Seminole Transport provides local quality personalized service, with the support of its parent company LinkAmerica Corporation.
Seminole needs drivers who are at least 23 years old. They must have at least two years of verifiable OTR experience and multi-state tractor/trailer experience. If the drivers are older than 23 they must have one year of consecutive experience in the last year and a half with no more than a month between jobs.
They must not have a DOT reportable accident in the past 3 years and no more than two minor preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
Drivers also need to have a valid CDL from their state of residence and no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
No personal or commercial license suspensions and no speeding convictions of 20 M.P.H. or more over the posted limit in the last 3 years are also required.
You cannot have DUI, DWI, reckless driving, careless driving or drug related convictions in any type of vehicle for the last five years and no more than one in your lifetime.
Other requirements are: no felony convictions, no one currently on probation or parole, no misdemeanor for theft, assault, or drugs in the past five years.
Drivers must pass two tests that the U.S. Department of Transportation requires. The first one is a physical test stipulated in Section 391.41. The other is a substance abuse test required in Section 382.301.
The company offers an orientation class and a road test. Drivers must pass both.
