Sherman Brothers began in 1969 as a small storage company in Eugene, Oregon under the name of William Transfer. It was later transformed into Sherman Transfer Co. when it was bought by its current CEO Leroy Sherman and President Keith Sherman.
Now, Sherman Brothers Heavy Trucking, Sherman Transfer Company and Roseburg Transfer Storage have grown to have over 340 trucks. Their services spread through Unites States, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in Canada.
Sherman Brothers' fleet has modern long wheel based tractors. The trailers are 40'-20' flat trailer combinations, lowboys, pole trailers, and steer cars. It also has single and double drops, flats, curtain sided tautliner trailers, resin tankers and such. It can be said that Sherman Bros company has divided its fleet into five main types: glass fleet, multi axle fleet, curtain van and machinery fleet.
The Sherman Bros Training and Management department has 340 drivers working, 93 of which are owner operators. For Sherman Bros, the drivers are priority. Because of this, the company hires experienced drivers, but it also trains new drivers who have just completed the truck driver school.
