Tulsa-based Arrow Trucking Co., one of the largest flatbed transportation companies in North America, announced the appointment of three company executives.
Robert Fitzgerald was named executive vice president and chief operating officer. He had been chief financial officer since January 2003. In his new role, Fitzgerald has responsibility for operations, sales and marketing, pricing and maintenance. Prior to joining Arrow in January 2003, Fitzgerald held various financial and operating management positions at BP Amoco and Williams Communications Group.
Jim Cade was appointed executive vice president of maintenance. Prior to joining Arrow in January, he served as vice president of maintenance at TMC Transportation in Des Moines, Iowa. He has more than 25 years of transportation industry experience with TMC Transportation and Ryder Systems.
Mark Lietzke was named chief financial officer. He previously served as vice president of finance. Lietzke has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. Most recently, he was an audit manager for BKD in Tulsa.
"I am extremely excited about the leadership team in place at Arrow Trucking Co," said Doug Pielsticker, president and chief executive officer. "We are driving the company to the next level of performance."
Pielsticker said the recent addition of 150 trucks, which brings Arrow's fleet to nearly 1,500 units, should help produce record revenues this year.
