Roadway Express Wins "Best In-line Grand Award" at TS2 2005

AKRON, Ohio (August 18, 2005) Roadway Express was awarded "Best In-line Grand Award" at TS2 2005, a trade show and conference for the trade show industry.

The 2005 Best of Show winners were announced during the show, which was held in Washington, D.C. Out of the 176 exhibits on the show floor, the winning selections were based upon the following judging criteria: brand identity and product presentation, exhibit environment, exhibit personnel effectiveness, and the overall "wow" factor.

The Roadway display highlighted Sealed Exhibit Service, which provides complete security and protection for tradeshow shipments during transit. When exhibitors use the Sealed Exhibit Service, their tradeshow shipments are placed behind a barrier, which is secured with two uniquely numbered tamper-proof rod lock seals. Once loaded on a Roadway truck, a shipment moving under Sealed Exhibit Service is not touched until delivery to its final destination. Roadway Sealed Exhibit Service includes an on-time delivery guarantee.

The Roadway 10-foot by 20-foot brushed metal booth structure featured large, single-image graphics printed on curved and straight fabric panels with overhead spotlights. A 42-inch plasma television played the Sealed Exhibit Service promotional video. Cards with attached keys were given to attendees by booth staffers wearing t-shirts bearing the word "security." There were 24 winning keys that could unlock the Sealed Exhibit prize truck, which contained prizes hidden inside boxes designed as crates.

"Roadway Express is proud that our booth was recognized with the Best In-line designation from TS2," said Terry Gilbert, executive vice president, sales and marketing. "Sealed Exhibit Service is part of our continuing evolution of industry-leading services that address the challenging needs of exhibitors. We provide the right service, the right people, at the right time to meet exhibitors' expectations."

TS2 is owned and operated by National Trade Productions (NTP), a leader in the production, management, and marketing of trade expositions, conferences and special events, and sponsored by the Trade Show Exhibitors Associations (TSEA).
