Do you qualify to drive for Covenant?

Ask yourself these questions.

• 21 years old
• Class A CDL
• Clean Driving Record
• 3 Months OTR experience within the last 5 years? If not, we require you to go back to a driving school
• Student Drivers must have graduated from a qualified truck driving school (minimum 120 hour curriculum) within the last 12 months.
• Student Drivers must attain their HazMat Endorsement within 6 months of their hire date.
• Experienced Solo Drivers must have 6 months verifiable interstate tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
• Experienced Solo Drivers MUST have their HazMat Endorsement.
• Experienced Team Drivers must have 3 months verifiable interstate tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
• Experienced Team Drivers MUST have their HazMat Endorsement.
• Drivers MUST be able to pass Covenant Transport's physical aptitude test.
• No current parole or warrant for arrest.

Covenant Teams XL

DETAILS AND INFORMATION: TEAM XL LONG HAUL DRY VAN & TEMP CONTROL

The majority of our Team XL fleet provides opportunities for a team of two drivers to run Dry Van long haul loads cross-country.

A smaller portion of our Team XL fleet provides Temp Control service to customers and team refrigerated drivers who are looking for great pay, miles, and home time.

We encourage drivers to apply who want to experience a lifestyle on the open road with few stops. We can either pair you with another team driver, or with an appropriately qualified family member or friend with a CDL.

Top Teams Averaged $78,610 individually and $177,634 combined in 2008

SAFETY BONUS:
$.01 per mile on all paid miles (must have no chargeable accidents within calendar quarter)

RETENTION BONUS:
$.02 per mile on all paid miles (must be employed entire calendar quarter to be eligible)

HOMETIME:
1 day per every week out; 14 day minimum dispatch

FREIGHT TYPE:
Mostly drop and hook, no touch

REQUIREMENTS:
Road Warriors who want to run serious miles! Minimum 3 months OTR experience or recent graduates can apply.
