| Hunt Transportation Inc., is the Flatbed and Specialized Service Division of Crete and is headquartered in Omaha, NE. Hunt began doing business in 1927 and became part of the Crete organization in 2001. This flatbed division consists of 400 tractors and 800 trailers, which transport agricultural and construction materials / equipment and any commodity which requires flatbed, sing-drop, detached, curtain van or stretch-flat type trailers.
Hunt Transportation Inc. Pay
Hunt Transportation Inc. offers one of the most comprehensive pay packages in the truckload industry for its qualified drivers. Drivers with one year verifiable OTR experience start at $.36 / mile. Drivers with two years verifiable OTR experience start at $.37 / mile. Drivers with three or less jobs in the last five years and four or more years of verifiable experience in the last five years may start at $.38 / mile. In addition, drivers are eligible for a one cent per mile annual pay increase up to $.40 per mile.
Hunt Transportation also accepts qualified student drivers who have successfully completed their schooling at an approved school.
All drivers are paid weekly by direct deposit to their bank account or their cash card and have weekly cash advances for road expenses.

Hunt Transportation Inc. Home Time We believe it is important to get you home frequently. At Hunt Transportation, you can expect to be away from home for one and a half to two and a half weeks, depending on where you live. You will earn one day off for every six days of driving. Non-vacation home time will generally be limited to a maximum of four consecutive days unless, as a result of your high level of productivity, your fleet manager approves additional time.

Hunt Transportation Driver Requirements
- Must be 22 years of age
- Must have 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Exceptions to the one year OTR requirement may be made on an individual basis if the driver applicant has a stable work history
- Have a stable work history
- Have a valid Class A CDL
- No major preventable accidents in the past five years
- Must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR
- No DUI or DWI convictions or positive drug screens or events in the past five years
- No felony conviction within the last 10 years
- Meet DOT requirements and be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen tests, both of which are paid for by the company
- Hunt Transportation also accepts qualified student drivers who have successfully completed their schooling at an approved school.
