USX has REAL trainers and not students training students

Student Orientation

Orientation is 3 days long. Transportation is provided from home to orientation by bus. Hotel rooms are also provided and shared among students. Lunch will be provided during the orientation. Make $300 per week for the 3 to 4 weeks of training.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS

• Graduate from approved training school and hold a CDL and have 0-3 months OTR experience. If previous military experience is to be accepted in lieu of school, it must be the primary MOS. We will accept this in lieu of school on a case-by-case basis.
• Stable work history. No more than 9 jobs in the last three years.
• No major chargeable accidents during the last 18 months. If minor chargeable, will review on case-by-case basis.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI in last 5 years. No DUI/DWI ever in commercial vehicle. No multiple DUI/DWI convictions.
• No convictions that would prohibit an applicant from entering Canada unless they have obtained a waiver from the Canadian authorities. Since the felony conviction hampers his ability to travel to Canada, the applicant will not be hired without the waiver. We will consider applicants with waivers the same as any other applicant approved by a VP.
• Must pass DOT drug screen and physical.
• Meet minimum age requirements as listed in minimum hiring requirements of all drivers (21).
• Must not have tested positive for a controlled substance, had an alcohol test with a breath alcohol concentration 0.04 or greater or refused a required test for drugs or alcohol in the last two years.

*Total preventable accidents and citations not to exceed 3 in last 3 years.
