Powersource Transportation Inc., satisfies a unique need within the trucking industry by providing a power-only source specializing in the pick-up and delivery of new and used, empty and loaded semi-trailers, entertainment trailers, portable equipment, machinery, stacked chassis, tool trailers, or anything on its own wheels, except mobile homes.
Skip Bakos, the president and founder of Powersource Transportation Inc., brings his hands-on experience, as a former driver and owner operator. Skip knows what it takes to do a job correctly. He understands the individual attention each job requires and ensures this it is provided by his talented team of professionals based in Griffith, Indiana.
Powersource, an all owner operator company, is not a training ground for new drivers. All drivers must be at least 26 years of age or older with a minimum of 3 years of over-the-road experience. All drivers must have a solid work history and clean MVR. We run a very rigorous background check on all contractors that are looking to partner with us.
Powersource offers a very competitive rate of pay with 100% of the fuel surcharge going to the contractor, plus a bonus incentive program after 80,000, 90,000 and 96,000 miles. The first year’s base plates and permits are given to the contractor at no cost .
In the power-only business we do not load, unload, tarp, or count. Our business is 100% DROP & HOOK!
