American Truck Training is a member of CVTA and maintains the following three primary objectives for its students:

Successful completion of the commercial driver license (CDL) skills test.

American Truck Training Locations:

Kansas City:
American Truck Training Kansas Location Opened in September of 2004, American Truck Training Academy in Kansas City is located at 5036 Gardner Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. From southbound N.E. Chouteau Trafficway, turn right onto Gardner Avenue. You'll find American Truck Training on your right (second building). Chouteau can be accessed from Highway 210 and from E. Front Street, which connects directly to I-435.

American Truck Training Academy offers both full-time (M-F) classes and part-time (Sat-Sun) classes. Weekend classes are subject to size limitations. Classes start weekly.

Oklahoma City
The original American Truck Training, also the headquarters of American Truck Training, is located at 5501 S. I-35 Service Road in Oklahoma City. Just take exit 123A from I-35 and go South on the service road. You can't miss the huge flag!

Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, except on holidays.

Tulsa
Opened in October of 2003, American Truck Training in Tulsa, Oklahoma is located at 40 North Mingo Road in Tulsa - That's on the West side of Mingo between the Mingo & Admiral traffic circle and the intersection of I-244 and Mingo.

American Truck Training in Tulsa offers both full-time (M-F) classes and part-time (Sat-Sun) classes. Weekend classes are subject to size limitations. Classes start weekly.

West Burlington, Iowa
Opened in April of 2001, American Truck Training in West Burlington, Iowa provides the truck driver training program for Southeastern Community College's Center for Business and Industry Services.

From Highway 34, take the Gear Avenue exit and cross the overpass. Turn right onto College drive. The American Truck Training is located in Building 300, just across the road from the training trucks. As you enter the building take the 2nd door on your left.

We offer both full time (M-F) classes and part-time (Sat.-Sun.) classes. Weekend classes are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to maximum size limitations.

Admissions Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license
Must be physically capable of performing tasks related to driving a truck
Must be 21 years of age or older (18 years old for in state driving)
Must have no outstanding warrants for arrest
Should have no felony convictions during the last five years
Should have no conviction for Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Intoxicated or similar conviction during the last five years
Should have no more than three moving violations in the last three years

American Truck Training maintains a "no give-up" policy, meaning that no student exhibiting a good attitude and reasonable effort will be penalized or dismissed for slow progress.
