At USF Glen Moore if you have graduated from an approved driving school you can earn while you learn. Our qualified trainers will assist in teaching the fundamental skills and management of life on the road as you transition from student to professional driver. In addition, USF Glen Moore's driver managers are seasoned professionals specifically trained to assist drivers who are new to the trucking industry.

• 1 day off for every 6 days out
• 11 cpm (all truck dispatched miles)
• Normal training period is 4 weeks

Basic Driver Requirements:

• HAZMAT REQUIRED
• Minimum Age – 21 years old
• Minimum Experience - 1 year of verifiable, multi-state, over-the-road, tractor-trailer driving experience OR must be a recent graduate of a USF Glen Moore Approved driving school, and then will go into our driver-training program.
• MUST have valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• No felonies in the last 7 years
• No more than 1 moving violation within the previous 12 months; no more than 3 moving violations within the previous 36 months
• No more than 1 accident within the previous 12 months; no more than 2 accidents within the previous 36 months
• No combination of 3 of the above within the previous 36 months
• No DUI/DWI in non-commercial motor vehicle within the previous 7 years; None in a commercial vehicle EVER
• Pass a DOT physical and drug tes
• All candidates must have a stable work history, with no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
