STEPS TO BECOMING A SOLO DRIVER:

Training

240 Hours of Logged Over the Road Training – 5 to 7 weeks
Geographical requirements must be met
Rate of Pay: $.14 cpm (for all miles driven)
Student Reimbursement (if qualify) - $100 per month after upgrade based on 10,000 miles ran 1 month. A copy of diploma and receipt from the school is required

Solo Status

Upon completion of training status will test out for solo status
Rate of Pay Upgrade $.28 cpm
Rate of Pay @ 6 months $.31cpm
Rate of Pay @ 1 year $..32cpm

DISPATCH AREAS

48 states and Canada – Quebec; Toronto; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB and Vancouver, BC

SCHEDULING

Minimum requirements 2 weeks out with 2 days at home
For every 5 to 6 days after the initial 2 weeks, you receive another day at home
Average miles run a week is between 2500-3000
Pay average is $600-$1000 per week

Dry Vans & Reefers

INCENTIVES

Paid weekly for all trips in by Monday at 5:00pm
Vacation Pay (after one year of employment)

Rider Policy - $13.00 weekly charge (available as a solo driver)

SRT Trainee Driver Requirements:

SRT MUST be the first company you work for upon completion of CDL school (to receive the tuition reimbursement)
Have a current license Class A CDL preferred with HazMat
No major accidents
At least 23 years of age
Good 5 year work history
No criminal convictions (misdemeanor or felony, including DUI’s and DWI’s) within the last 5 years
Minimum of 92% GPA in CDL school
No sexual or violent crimes - EVER
Must complete 3 1/2 day orientation at Texarkana, AR
