Driver Solutions

Driver Solutions is a company that trains inexperienced truck drivers and placing them with well-known trucking companies. They offer entry-level driving jobs that include company-paid CDL training.

Driver Solutions identified trucking companies to offer great paying jobs to new truck drivers. These trucking companies have agreed to sponsor the tuition costs for students to attend an approved truck driving school. Because of this, they have eliminated bothersome work load for the students like completing student loan applications, finding a co-signer, or paying a large tuition down payment. The end result is students get the CDL training they need and a great opportunity to start a new career with the company who sponsored them.

The Driver Solutions CDL training program teaches inexperienced drivers all aspects of a professional truck driver's job. Subjects include the CDL permit requirements, keeping driver logs, reading maps, trip planning, and of course, driving skills and techniques.

The Driver Solutions program also includes lessons to learn skills needed to have a well-paying professional truck driving career, besides learning how to drive a semi. It starts in the classroom where students prepare for the state-administered CDL permit exams, learn how the parts and systems of the truck help them drive, and how to identify safety concerns during a pre-trip inspection of the truck.

Driver Solutions has a driving range that provides a wide-open area for hands-on instruction with ample room to practice turning and backing skills. Once the driving range skills are mastered, the student will use those skills to operate the truck on the nearby streets and highways with their professional driving instructor seated next to them.

The Driver Solutions uses training trucks similar to those in the companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s fleet. The trucks are conventional tractors from Freightliner, Volvo, and International with 10-speed transmissions and adapted with a special training brake for safety. The trailers are a combination of 48-foot and 53-foot Ââ€Ã‹Ã…“dry vanÂâ€Ã¢„¢ box trailers, these are the usual trailers being used in the trucking industry.

The Driver Solutions is in collaboration with two well-known truck companies, PAM Transport and USA Truck. Sponsored students will have the chance to work for any of the two prestigious trucking companies.
