RICHMOND, VA April 6,2004-Estes Express Lines was recently honored with six awards at the Transportation Sales and Marketing Association's (TSMA) 2004 Communications Award Competition. The competition was held during TSMAs Annual Conference at The Wigwam Resort and Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona, from March 2831, 2004.
Estes was awarded Second Place in the overall marketing campaign category, Third Place in the Web Site, Desk Pad Calendar and Specialty Items categories and had two entries that tied for Third Place in the Sales Literature category. Judging for the competition was based on the overall effectiveness of each entry, how well it met its stated objective within the category and how its success compared to other entries within the same category.
The top providers and firms were selected for their ability to apply innovation and creativity to achieve maximum results, said Communications Award Chairperson and Executive Vice President of Oliver Trucking Chris Reinhart.
The TSMA Communications Award Competition is an opportunity for companies to put their best work of the year up against similar firms from the United States and Canada. It also gives these companies a chance to obtain constructive criticism on their pieces because a panel of advertisers, designers and other marketing professionals provide written evaluations critiquing each entry.
