Claims less than 1 percent on two million shipments in 2004

BREA, CA - With an extremely low claims ratio in 2004, G.I. Trucking Company achieved an even higher level of customer satisfaction according to Fran Glidewell, Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

During 2004, our company completed over 2 million shipments. Approximately 99.5 percent of those shipments were made without any customer claims, noted Glidewell.

With this achievement, G.I. Trucking marked a 22 percent improvement over previous years, a goal that was on target within the company's operational and customer service planning.

Providing this kind of claims free service is a tribute to the drivers, terminal staff and the many other employees who deal with customer shipping requirements on a daily basis, noted Bill Reid, company president. During 2005, we are working hard to do even better.

G.I. Trucking Company provides direct less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services to 13 western states from approximately 60 terminals. It also offers transportation services to the 50 U.S. states and all of Canada through its ExpressLINK North American services network.
