Atlas to Expand Marketing, Communications Efforts


Consistency to further develop brand, paint broader portrait of services

EVANSVILLE, Ind. Atlas World Group is relying on a 10-year company veteran to help develop further consistency in its already recognizable brand image and serve as a liaison between the two key divisions of the transportation leader.

Atlas has promoted Ryan McConnell to Director, Sales Development; he previously served as the Director of Sales Support for Atlas' Specialized Transportation Group. McConnell's move will link the sales and marketing sides of Atlas' Specialized Transportation Group (STG) and Relocation Services Group (RSG).

"As we have continued to strengthen and develop our brand strategies over the past two years, a critical component of that has been a unified message," said Greg Hoover, Atlas' Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. "Ryan's work on the STG side of the business will help us further our consistency in promoting one message about Atlas and all of our product lines."

McConnell is an Evansville native, and earned his B.A. in sociology from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY, in 1994. He is married and is the proud father of a son and a daughter. McConnell actively participates in the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA), the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA), and the American Association of Museums (AAM).
