AAA Cooper Transportation

In the early 1930's John H. "Red" Dove planted the seed for AAA Cooper Transportation ("ACT") as it stands today. ACT is a family owned, non-union, region less-than-truckload trucking firm serving 12 southeastern states and Puerto Rico plus the industrial areas of Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville. Its Quality Management System is composed of elements that enable the efficient operation of its Freight Transportation Services and the goal of providing error-free services that conform to customers' requirements. ACT is firm in its faith of achieving this through the efficient operation of its Quality Management System.
AAA Cooper has 78 strategically placed terminals in the Southeast to allow customers to receive next day and two day service between points. Additionally, AAA Cooper Transportation provides trailer load brokerage satisfying customer needs in international services also by providing services to and from the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, and Alaska through Partner Carriers.
AAA Cooper has the distinct privilege of having earned the ISO 9001:2000 quality registrations at its corporate office at Dotha, AL. Since 1990, AAA Cooper Transportation has been using the concepts and methods developed by Philip Crosby Associates to smooth the path of progress for the continuous improvement of the company's services to its customers.  In order to ensure that everyone understands their role in Quality Improvement, it is made mandatory for each employee to attend specifically designed courses conducted by trained instructors from the companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s Quality Department. The well constructed and comprehensive course topics include: company quality policy and objectives, teamwork, measurement, analysis and improvement, problem-solving, corrective and preventive actions, and employee involvement in our Quality Process: all of which are combined with unity and will to succeed is the mantra for development at AAA Cooper Transportation.
The company that cares for its employees takes a strong stand as far as Safety Issues are concerned so not only does it comply with all federal, state, and local laws or regulations related to safety, but they also maintain a safe work environment throughout their system. The primary goal of this program is to prevent accidents, incidents, illnesses, and injuries and fulfills the moral obligation of protecting the general public. So ACT serves the public through its team through the obligation it extends of social and business sense of responsibility.
