American Linen Supply Co.

AmeriPride Linen and Apparel Service and AmeriPride Uniform Service, formerly known as American Linen Supply Co., were founded in 1889. George A. Steiner worked his way through high school delivering towels throughout Lincoln, Nebraska for a local laundry.  He soon realized the impact of quality service and subsequently purchased the towel business from his employer for $50.80 displaying incredible foresight and no mean feat.
The company is still owned and actively managed by the founding family and has grown into a multi-national organization operating 196 production facilities and service centers throughout the United States and Canada, servicing 200,000 customers each week. ItÂâ€Ã¢„¢s no wonder that it is counted among the five largest garment service and linen supply companies in North America.
For over 100 years, the company has provided solutions for service companies, food services, research & technology, healthcare companies, building companies, etc. and even todayÂâ€Ã¢„¢s highly advanced technology SAM(Superior Apparel Management) to accurately track, control and monitor its garment service. Precise tracking ends garment delivery inaccuracies. Customers need never be inconvenienced because with this new technology, the company can tell you where every garment is. If an employee loses or misplaces garments, you can hold him accountable for their assigned inventory. As the American Linen Supply Co. believes that if they misplace it, they replace it - without questions.
One can accurately measure employee usage and control abuse before they become problems. AmeriPride's radio frequency chip does not require "line of sight" reading to assure accuracy. So superior is the technology used that an AmeriPride scanner automatically reads the garment's embedded ID number, even if soiled or bundled with other garments. The organization's continued investment in the latest laundry technology, associate training, and leading edge information systems has resulted in the industry's highest customer satisfaction levels.
AmeriPrideÂâ€Ã¢„¢s continued investment in the latest laundry technology, associate training and leading edge information systems has resulted in the industryÂâ€Ã¢„¢s highest customer satisfaction levels as reported by independent research and it expects even greater rates of growth and profit in the new millennium claiming new possibilities for over 6,000 employees and tremendous opportunities for talented, ambitious people. Multiple opportunities open periodically throughout the country in areas such as sales, marketing, service, accounting, engineering, information systems, and production.
