Cox Interior, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Charles E. Cox, his wife and children with the dream of manufacturing and creating a market for poplar, oak and cherry interior wood products as alternatives to pine. In Campbellsville, Kentucky, the company has a 105 acre site with 16 acres of manufacturing facilities under roof and employs over 840 persons with a sales force of about 65 individuals,  working a nine-state area.

The range of services and product line includes Interior Trim. From working with the chosen carpenter to ensuring the interior trim is the right fit for a picture-perfect finish to your home, they do it all. The majority of trim presented on their website is standard molding that is stocked; however, some molding profiles of certain varieties of wood are only available as a custom order item so their representative has to be given notice regarding lead time on all these. In 1997 Cox Interior, Inc. entered into an agreement with Steves & Sons Door Company of San Antonio, Texas in a bid to provide exclusive molded doors: brought in through the latterÂâ€Ã¢„¢s plant in Lebanon, Tennessee thereby establishing a quality control procedure to insure only the very best doors at Campbellsville plant.

Custom Doors manufactured are for a specific order from stock species wood (poplar, oak, and cherry) then there are doors measuring 7' (84") and 8' (96") and are available by special order up to 3'6" (42") wide which require an advance notice of about 4 weeks for the need to be met. Custom doors from acceptable non-stock woods (white oak, ash and mahogany are purchased from suppliers and the availability of the material, its condition on arrival, etc determines lead time needed by the company.  The lead time is established when the door department receives the material. Exterior Doors are also listed on the website which represents mahogany door designs that Cox Interior, Inc. offers for specific building needs. Another exclusive feature that Cox Interior Supply Inc. undertakes orders for are Mantels: carefully detailed to fit in with the customerÂâ€Ã¢„¢s requirement.

A Custom millwork consultant gets individual attention from the Cox Interior, Inc. representative who works closely with the carpenter to ascertain that he receives, on time, the exact style of mantel for a flawless, elegant finish to the home in question. Evident from their commitment to work and the end product, the common eye can get a glimpse of their dedication to excellence – through the quality materials, fine craftsmanship and outstanding customer service that are the values governing Cox Interior Supply Inc.
