The Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad is the biggest switch carrier in the United States with 54 miles of mainline track (24 miles of which is double main track) and 266 miles of additional yard and siding track.
The company provides a large variety of services including industrial switching with 160 customers generating 170,000 carloads of business annually. The IHB interchanges daily with 16 other rail carriers in Chicago. Principle in absolute terms of intimidation of any person that is calculated to discourage or prevent such person from receiving proper medical treatment or from reporting such accident, incident, injury, or illness will not be permitted or tolerated and will result in the following disciplinary action against any employee, Supervisor, manager, or officer of the railroad committing such Intimidation.
Disciplinary Action is applicable under IHB in 1985 System Discipline Policy or
Collective bargaining agreements will be taken up to and including discharge
Against any Officer, Manager, Supervisor or employee of the railroad committing
