Hiner Transport was established in Huntington, Indiana in 1967 by Homer F. Hiner and was operated as an additional business to his diesel repair shop.  Mr. Hiner started hauling grain and eventually went on to hauling to dairy products as well. Since then, in 1968, Hiner Transport has evolved from a small family business to a diversified provider of transportation services throughout the continental United States. In June of 1999 after 32 years of gaining complete and continued customer satisfaction and confidence, Hiner Transport was purchased by Service First Corporation and has since continued to attain growth and diversity in the industry.Hiner Transport has its headquarters in Huntington, Indiana and offers local, regional, and national transportation services with branch offices in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Huntington, Indiana, and Indianapolis, Indiana.They have a comprehensive inventory of equipments that include the most accurate global positioning/communication satellite system and the most reliable transportation equipment currently available in the market.  Every tractor, trailer, driver and shipment is carefully coordinated and monitored from origin to delivery, ensuring the cargoÂâ€Ã¢„¢s  safe and on-time arrival the customerÂâ€Ã¢„¢s destination.
Hiner Transport has a 1st and 2nd Shift full time Shop.  They have routine preventative maintenance programs for their trucks and trailers and adhere to it strictly. They have Tractor and Trailer Bays, a Body Shop, and a Wash Bay. Their fleet includes Kenworth T2000's, Freightliners (Century & FLD's), as well as Internationals are powered by N14 and ISX Cummings as well as 60 Series Detroit's.  The trailers are mainly 53' Dry Van's (Air Ride). The Trucks come equipped with Qualcomm or People Net to track the trucks and shipments.  The company also uses AirIQ on their trailers.  Each unit comes clean and ready to use.Not only does the company have a state-of-the-art system but are always keeping up with the upgrades so that the best communication is available to our drivers, and accurate information to our customers!  They use a system called TMW Systems for the operations software, People Net Systems for communication with trucks, AirIQ systems for trailer tracking, and also state-of-the-art hardware for end user pc's and servers. Customers have the ability to track their loads online.Using the most competitive cost structure and its commitment to service, Hiner Logistics has earned the respect and trust of many Fortune 500 companies throughout the continental United States and continues to serve them as a transportation services provider with the confidence only a leader in the industry can.
