With over a hundred yearÂâ€Ã¢„¢s history in the transportation industry G&D Integrated their greatest growth has occurred over the last 20 years. Since the mid 1980s, they have expanded their knowledge and capabilities to provide commercial and industrial customers with a wide range of services that go far beyond the transportation of commodities.
G&D Transportation came into existence in 1984, and a few years later, CDO Distribution, their sister company was established in order to complement their transportation services with cross-dock services. Then in 1996, they rounded out their logistics capabilities, adding a third company, Specialized Process Services that was capable of handling numerous manufacturing processes.
Then since the fall 2005, they have combined the capabilities of G&D Transportation, CDO Distribution and Specialized Process Services to create a single, full-service company. Now, known as G&D Integrated, they are able to provide all the services with even greater efficiency than before. As a privately owned company based in Central Illinois, they have many clients in the Midwest but some of the services extend across the continental United States. Their transportation fleet includes 375 power units, 900 trailers and 900 chassisÂâ€Ã¢„¢ of various types. Currently, we operate cross dock distribution facilities throughout Illinois and process approximately 8 million pounds of freight through these facilities for export per day.
Industry System Solutions is a part of the G&D family of companies and is the Master Distributor for ArcoPlate, the only thermo-clad fused alloy wear plate in the market. As compared to the conventionally welded overlay plate, ArcoPlate has a much higher carbide content, a more consistent microstructure and superior surface polish. Laboratory and field tests show that wear plates using this proprietary material outwear conventional wear plate materials by as much as 200 percent.
The company provides services in areas like pick and pack, assembly, painting, kitting and more. In addition, our engineering design, on-site labor, and knowledge-based services help you in getting the most out of your manufacturing logistics service package.

With their extensive fleet of power units, trailers and chassis, they are equipped to accommodate the intermodal, flatbed, and dedicated transportation needs of a wide range of customers throughout the United States. Their ever increasing client list includes Fortune 500 companies in automobile and heavy equipment manufacturing, retail, shipping, and agricultural products.
