Established in 1956, Arby Construction has grown from a small telephone contractor to one of the leaders in the underground construction industry and is currently servicing a huge clientele across numerous states with a massive workforce f 650 people. Their business facilities are located on a 30 acre area that includes three buildings that contain more than 40,000 square feet and houses the company fleet and maintenance center, fabrication shop, warehouse, training classroom and administrative offices.

In February 24, 2000 the company joined Quanta Services, Inc. of Houston, Texas. Quanta are a publicly traded corporation and are listed on the New York Stock Exchange. With the help of their sister companies they can now offer end to end network solutions for gas and electric power, telecommunications and cable industries. The Company is a member of the Midwest Energy Association's Qualified for One Qualified for All Consortium.

Included in the services that the company provides is their gas distribution system and pipeline construction, this service involves construction of complete installation of all sizes of gas distribution systems and construction of steel and plastic pipeline mains and services that include house piping for new and renewal construction. Telecommunication construction services include installation of on fiber optic networks, copper, conduit and duct for major telecommunication clients throughout the United States. Pipe and vessel fabrication, visual inspections and location of sewer laterals before construction begins. This self-contained portable unit allows a two- (2) person crew to view and locate the depth of 3", 4", and 6" sewer lateral connections up to 70 feet from the main sewer line. The launcher is mounted on a tread tractor that propels itself through mainline sewers and positions the inspection camera launcher opposite the lateral line connection.

The company is also known to have constructed the largest gas expansion project in the state of Wisconsin in 1998 for Wisconsin Electric Power Company comprising over 400 miles of steel and plastic main and 4000 services. Arby Construction was the first contractor in the state of Wisconsin to successfully direct bury 6" gas main. Among the various awards that speak out loud for the company are  the Supply Chain Award of Excellence in 1997 by Wisconsin Electric Power Company. The Wisconsin Underground Contractors Association Safety Award in 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1999, and 2000 and again in 2001.
