It has further made extensive use of the latest high end technology on various projects for the government and the private sector, from nuclear weapons assembly plants and test facilities for State of the Art laser weaponry to Clean Room production facilities for microchips. Institutional needs vary from one to another and Gardner Zemke meets the challenge of these specialized needs projects with its capable team; these may include health care, correctional, and educational facilities. The State of Texas, 2,250 bed, Maximum Security Prison facilities at Wichita Falls were completed on time in 19 months with a Mechanical and Electrical value exceeding $ 18 million.

Numerous lighting, signalization and control projects for highways, streets, intersections, and runways since the mid 1960Ââ€Ã¢„¢s have also been undertaken by the company and some of the facilities built by them for surface mining operations include gold, uranium, copper, and coal; and diverse industries servicing needs like sewage and water treatment facilities, cement plants, oil and gas refineries, pumping plants and manufacturing facilities. Power projects performed at the company consists of Generation related facilities of coal-fired, natural gas and hydroelectric plants; substations and switchyards; and overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems.
