From its humble beginnings that included a fleet of just one truck, Decker Truck Line, Inc. has grown and operates a fleet that contains over 400 units. Through its formative years Decker has learnt that in the end it is the quality of service a company provides and the way a company keeps its employees is what determines the success or failure of the company. Putting this lesson to practice over a period of sixty years the company has grown into the proud industry leader it is today.

The companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s drivers are trained through stringent company set standards to ensure that transportation, loading and unloading procedures minimize the potential of injury to all, the driverÂâ€Ã¢„¢s s well as the people around. Decker has a team of highly qualified and experienced mechanics who ensure that there is minimal down time of any equipment. The maintenance program is of the highest standard of excellence in the industry and comes second to none. All equipment must go through a safety lane at the end of each trip. This kind of preventive maintenance program eliminates most problems before they happen.
 
The main shipments consist of steel, wallboard and other products throughout the Midwest, South Central and Eastern United States.  The average length of a haul is 550 miles.  Combined with dispatch and equipment support, the company can keep the customer informed of their load at any given time. Most of the company drivers average between 10,000 and 12,000 miles per month keeping the company on the road to success.
