GreyStone Power Corporation is a member owned electric cooperative committed to providing their members with the best electric service at the lowest possible rates.
In August, 1936, a group of determined local people met in Douglasville, formed the Farmers Electrical Association, applied for a Rural Electrification Administration loan, and set out to build 83 miles of power lines. The company is located on the west side of Atlanta. GreyStone Power serves eight metropolitan Atlanta counties including Douglas, Paulding, Fulton, Coweta, Cobb, Fayette, Carroll, and Bartow, some of the fastest growing areas not only in the state but in the nation.
Greystone provides residential services, commercial services, fleet services, power surge protection. Each home experiences hundreds of potentially damaging power surges per year. Home appliances, personal computers, heating and air conditioning equipment, cable and telephones, which depend on electricity, are sensitive to these surges. To enable to minimize the risk to appliances and home equipment from possible power surges caused by sudden and unexpected increases in voltage fluctuation, GreyStone Power offers  SurgeMaster Plus program.
SurgeMaster Plus program is to reduce risk of loss occurring due to power surge. Surge protection can extend the lifetime of sensitive electronic equipment by protecting it against harmful power surges. And SurgeMaster Plus offers 'Three Point' surge protection. With companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s professional installation of the SurgeMaster Plus equipment, it provides protection to the meter, and also provides surge protectors to phone connection and cable or satellite TV connection.
