JB Instant Lawn is a leader in the green industry. JB Instant Lawn specializes in providing beautiful lawns since 1968. The headquarters of the company is located in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley. JB farms have nearly 2500 acres of sod, seed, and nursery stock in Oregon and Washington.

The Jensen brothers were the original pioneers of the West Coast sod market. In 1968 Paul increased the sod acreage and by 1980 he had established a firm market for sod in Seattle and had 300 acres in sod production in Kirkland, Washington. This resulted in a well-run satellite operation based in the midst of a densely populated region east of Seattle.

J B Instant Lawn Inc provides many services such as sod, seed, nursery, athletic and hydroseed. As far as the sod operation is concerned, the business is totally vertically integrated. Some of the seed used to produce the product marketed as instant lawn is raised by JB. The JB fleet of trucks takes care of daily product deliveries from the Canadian border to Northern California.

JB is continually growing and remains a leader and innovator in the green industry. JB repeatedly looks for ways to supply additional services to their customers. The current products and services JB provides are sod, seed, hydroseeding, fertilizer, big roll sod installation, and wholesale nursery stock. J B Signature variety is a versatile, all-purpose turfgrass that can be used for commercial landscapes, recreational parks and playgrounds, but JB Signature is also particularly well suited for home lawns and adds a special elegance to formal landscape settings. JB Signature is available in 10 square feet rolls (24" x 60" and 18" x 80"). It is cut by machine and rolled with soil facing out and delivered on pallets of 500 square feet each. Big-Roll sod from JB Instant Lawn provides with a more efficient, higher quality installation as well as faster usability.

Today, Paul runs the family business and His daughter, Anne-Marie is the vice president of JB and his son-in-law, Mark, is the farm manager. With the growth of the family, JB plans on continuing this tradition for the next 30 years and thereafter.
