The Mount Olympus Bottled Water business in Salt Lake City was first incorporated in 1898 under the trade style of Mount Olympus Fruit and Livestock Farm Company. The company provides ice and water for irrigation of fruit trees and for farm animals. In 1963 the current management acquired the company and subsequently the name was changed to Mount Olympus Waters, Inc. The company offers a full line of water coolers and dispensing equipment, including reverse osmosis and filtration. In 1980 the company constructed a large new bottling and warehouse facility.
 
Mount Olympus Waters provide the standard against which all other waters in the region are compared, their great tasting natural spring water is packaged in 5 gallon, 3 gallon, 2.5 gallon, 1 gallon, ½ gallon, 1.5 liter, 1 liter, ½ liter, 24 ounce and 9.65 ounce packages. Warehouse distribution through AlbertsonÂâ€Ã¢„¢s, SmithÂâ€Ã¢„¢s, Associated Grocers, and Fleming and direct store delivery through several distributors make the product largely available.
 
The Mount Olympus bottling facility is located in the center of Salt Lake Valley. The plant is fully automated and has the most updated complicated computerized filling line and packaging equipment available. The natural quality and purity of the water is preserved in the bottling plant by processing the products through carbon filtration, sub micron filtration, ozonation and UV sterilization with strict loyalty to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Standards. 
  
Mount Olympus has flowed pure and sweet, low in dissolved solids and high in oxygen. The company spring is located southeast of Salt Lake City at the 5,000 foot level of NeffÂâ€Ã¢„¢s Canyon, a protected source surrounded by a federally designated wilderness area. Its quality is very uniform and there is no chlorine, harsh chemicals or impurities to alter the pristine taste of Mount Olympus Spring Water.  

Their plant is checked on a regular basis by the Utah State Department of Agriculture. Additionally to their own quality control procedures including testing of their water and products many times each day. The company is members of the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA). IBWAÂâ€Ã¢„¢s yearly inspection, Mount Olympus Waters for the last 16 years has been certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). Their certification scores for the last five years have exceeded 96 percent and scores in 1999 and 2000 were 99 percent and 98.5 percent correspondingly.
