Carter Express Inc. was established in 1982 as a logistics firm, and then they opened a logistics center in 2000, which is a Q9001-2000 certified company. The company at present is serving in United States, Canada and Mexico which is expanding into Europe and Asia. They had also introduced Carter Milk system in 1994.
The Customer Service Department (CSD) with its Customer Service Representative's (CSR) has provided essential contact link with the customers and suppliers. Some of the features of customer services department are Proof of Delivery (POD), Track and Trace bill of Lading (BOL), Expedite Shipment requests, overage, shortage & damage (OSD). The management, supplier compliance communication contact has published milk run schedules, customer specific reporting, new customer information packet, weather alerts, border delays, homeland security updates and terror alert level status.

Their shared milk run system covers the most populated Tier 1 and Tier 2 supply base in the United States, Canada and Mexico. They have hundreds of manufacturing plants that are sharing in each milk run.  Carter manages multiple modes of transportation inbound and outbound from their 100 doors, 100,000 square foot logistics center on a daily basis.

Some of their accounting services provide facilities like split-bill invoicing, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) billing, standard invoice, spreadsheet billing summary, 820 technology, 824 technology, (POD) lookup via internet.

The company is growing constantly and they offer keen no touch freight in late model equipment.  They have opportunities for single drivers and teams in company. Their single drivers will make up to 36 cents per mile and can expect 2500 miles or more per week. The company owner/operators make up to 90 cents per mile. They offer company paid fuel taxes and company paid permits.
