Carnesville Block Company, Inc. was established in 1950 by John Tesiero. Cranesville is, perhaps the largest producer of Ready Mixed concrete in New York State. They have 23 Stationary, 3 portable plants, and 1 portable wet plant located throughout New York. Service is provided to projects of any size, scope or specification from a local on-site plant. 
 
Projects are supported with technical advice, mix designs and pre-placement reviews. A large fleet of transit mix trucks provide on-site service and managed by technical and operation personnel.  The technical service oversees quality control and they focus on seminars for planning, design and construction applications. The production of high specification aggregates for us in the concrete, asphalt and pak mix operations as well as commercial sales to all segments of the construction industry.  Quarried stone and sand and gravel are processed to meet nearly all applications and specifications including water filtration systems, golf courses and ballasted membrane roofs.
 
Cranesville Packaging Division with a production plant in New York produces a full line of Pak Mix and Scotia Bag Productions provide for the construction industry, building materials suppliers and homeowners. This includes concrete, mortar and sand mixes, bottled concrete glues, fortifiers, specialty coatings and toppings. The division also produces custom blended cements and aggregates for other private label firms.
 
Core customers are franchised and independent lumber yards, masonry yard and hardware stores, shunning the large box stores that challenge the traditional way in which their products have been marketed.
