Energyunited Propane LLC

EnergyUnited was formed in 1998 when electrical cooperative members overwhelmingly voted to consolidate Crescent and Davidson Electric Membership Corporations. These two established cooperatives served customers for 60 years. Their headquarters are located in Statesville. EnergyUnited is the third largest supplier of residential electricity in the state with a service territory that stretches south from the Virginia border and includes three of North
Carolina's largest cities; Charlotte, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro.

Since itÂâ€Ã¢„¢s a cooperative, EnergyUnited's customers own the company, elect its board of directors, and vote on policies at annual meetings. The cooperative is not in business to make a profit, but to provide a needed service at the lowest possible cost to its member customers.
EnergyUnited provides businesses with smart strategies, dynamic energy solutions and a new generation of products and services to help compete successfully in today's marketplace. EnergyUnited offer a selection of customized services for the business. These include the energy related services such as energy information systems, energy procurement, energy efficiency, power quality, generators, electricity and propane. Other services include facility monitoring, lighting maintenance, bill management, and total outsourcing.

EnergyUnited supports positive community events throughout its service area, from the Lexington Barbecue Festival to Boy Scout Day to blood drives among others. And many of their outstanding employees are involved in community activities such as chambers of commerce, governmental boards, home builders association, volunteer fire departments, youth sports, churches, etc. Facility monitoring provides immediate notification of system failures or other critical conditions that could cause costly repairs or loss if not attended to promptly. EnergyUnitedÂâ€Ã¢„¢s staff of highly trained and experienced specialists assesses the alarm and takes appropriate action to minimize loss and help to get the equipment back in operation.

EnergyUnited's Power quality experts perform assessments and provide equipment to help ensure disturbance free power to sensitive computer and other electronic equipment.

Today EnergyUnited shares that same dedication toward improving lives as a not for profit, member-owned electric cooperative. The company has not lost that focus as they have expanded their services. Presently they are still committed to partnerships that ensure economic growth, more jobs and a brighter future.
