Alger Putt Senn teaming up with Kurt Switzenburg started Senn Blacktop Inc in 1958. The company began its operation in Osseo, Wisconsin and relocated to its current location in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin when projects began to surface in the Eau Claire area. Senn Blacktop received hundreds of paving jobs for local roads, parking lots, and driveways. Senn Blacktop also reached out to community through participation in more than 30 nonprofit organizations and many area schools in the Chippewa Valley. 
 
Senn Blacktop Inc is a respected member of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. Senn Blacktop had been chosen to pave some of the largest industrial and commercial parking lots as well as major streets and roads.
