Trumbull-Nelson was established in 1917, their company develops from its starting as a builder of fine homes in the Hanover area to become the Upper Valley's largest General Contractor, specializing in all types of institutional, commercial, industrial and residential construction. They have become one of Northern New England's most respected construction firms.  

The superior construction management skills, design/build services, sound management and tight fiscal controls have allowed company to develop and grow. The company has over 100 employees, a wide fleet of construction vehicles and equipment, and their own custom millwork, the company offers clients an enormous range of capabilities. Trumbull-Nelson undertaken 85 percent of the project are negotiated, utilizing the Construction Management project delivery system, which highlights the crew approach to the construction process.

General contracting; Trumbull-Nelson employs an experienced work force which has the capability to self-perform many categories of the work on any given project. The company is capable of performing, with their own forces, tasks such as site work and excavation, concrete, steel erection, carpentry, millwork, drywall and painting.  

Trumbull-Nelson is recognized as a leader in the Upper Valley and northern New England for their Design capabilities. They provide engineering services supported by full CAD capabilities. The company Construction Company maintains a fully equipped and staffed Millwork Shop, capable of fabricating finished millwork products to the highest quality standard and the most severe specifications. In order to better serve the constant demand of smaller jobs and self-performed finish work, they maintain an experienced painting crew throughout the year.

Trumbull-Nelson is a recipient of two Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction awards for recently completed projects. The company awards were in the category of 'Institutional, under $2 Million', for the Lebanon College project, in Lebanon, NH, and 'Institutional, $2-$10 Million, for the Richard W. Black Community & Senior Center, in Hanover, NH.
