Granite Furniture Company was established in June of 1910, Granite Furniture Company opened its doors in Sugar House a town of Salt Lake City. About twenty five years later, Willard bought out some of the original partners and took over the management of the company. Willard believed in a broader potential to be achieved through a different management technique which rapidly turned it into a successful and developing company. In the year 1920 mining boom branches were opened in Bingham Canyon, Park City and Murray and later in Duchesne, Moroni and then Provo. 
 
The company goal and objective has always been to make it the best and top, not the biggest. Their goal has been achieved through service to the customer and making certain customers are satisfied and give them service on time and safely.
