J & R Schugel Trucking Inc. was established in 1974 and is a truckload carrier of general commodities with its headquarters in New Ulm, MN, J&R Schugel owns 650 power units and approximately 1050 trailers. The company services 48 continental U.S. States. J&R Schugel prides itself in the timely transportation of temperature-controlled products delivered any where across the nation. The companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s strategically located terminals at the corporate headquarters in New Ulm, MN, Columbus, OH and Atlanta, GA allow J&R Schugel professionals to provide quality cargo delivery to the most dense business lanes east of the Mississippi River and select California points.  

Regional fleets based out of Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH and the Chicago Metro area support the various customer expectations of the company. The J&R Schugel dry-van division concentrates on providing full truckload, dry freight service to the industry.  The Flatbed Division of the company started in 1998 and consists of 100 tractors and 130 trailers with freight that includes lumber, irrigation systems, and constructions equipment, concrete and steel fabrications. Our flatbeds and drop decks are equipped with air-ride suspensions.
