It is a locally owned and operated company that has been in business since 1967. Allied Ready-Mix Co Inc has grown into a thriving operation with dedication and hard work from its founder and visionary Harold Allen.
Allied Ready-Mix has four locations; Downtown Louisville on Frankfort Avenue, Haunz Lane in Crestwood, Cane Run Road in Pleasure Ridge Park, and in Bullitt County on Highway 61 in Shepherdsville. Allied Ready-Mix has a fleet of 52 front discharge and 4 rear discharge concrete mixer trucks. Allied Ready-Mix has a centrally located dispatch office with fully automated batch plants to help meet customer needs as well as a pumping division for getting concrete poured in those hard to reach places and helps with industrial, commercial and residential needs.
Allied Ready-Mix has its own in house quality control department with three full time employees dedicated to making the designs wanted to the client specifications. Allied Ready-Mix quality control department develops and monitors over nine hundred mix designs to meet customer needs.
Allied Ready Mix Co Inc has undertaken various projects such as Churchill Downs Museum and Gate 1, McAlpine Lock and Dam, Courts Complex, Papa Johns Stadium, J B Speed Parking Garage, Courtyard Marriott Downtown, Guess Jeans Warehouse, Ford Expansion, Capital Holdings Building, Galt House and Projects In Progress such as Projects In Progress, Waterfront Park Place, Riverport Warehouses, 7th Street Warehouse, and UPS HUB 2000.
