Triangle Transport And Distribution LLC


The Transport division of this company is an extension of the services provided by Triangle Warehouse and Distribution Services which consists of two individual warehousing facilities, totaling over 200,000 square feet.  Each of these facilities is located in the airport area of Greensboro. 
Some of the products that are currently handled are chemicals, textiles, paper products, appliances, yarn, furniture, retail merchandise, aluminum coils apart from other general commodities. The company utilizes automated conveyors and bar code scanning to unload and load packages quickly and efficiently. Several standard formats of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) are also available. All orders received by 2pm are shipped out that day.  In addition, every effort is made by the ever-efficient and dedicated dispatch team to ship those last minute 4pm rush orders that occasionally occur. Rail Services provide the company with a more cost effective method of receiving and shipping heavy freight all over the country. 
There are on offer by the company many special warehousing services like warehouse labor (other than ordinary handling and storage), reporting marked information from merchandise, Dunnage, bracing, packing materials, receiving or shipping outside of regular business hours, repackaging, bagging, or recouping of goods, special rental equipment (if needed), special labeling, Pick and Pack, Sort and Segregate, Consolidation and Distribution.
The Triangle Transport division has over 20 trucks that haul freight in 48 states.  Additionally, the company has local trucks to handle intrastate North Carolina freight and tractors that have been equipped with "Terion" wireless GPS and messaging system. All Trailers are either 48' or 53' dry vans with E-track and Air Ride enabling long hauls to be comfortable and timely. Special services are also available which cover the transportation of Hazardous Materials Hauling, Blanket Wrap, Decking, Driver Assist, Expedited and Haz Mat Handling.
Since it is a third party logistics warehouse service, it is up to the customer to have insurance coverage on their own goods, but the company does have insurance that covers accidental sprinkler system set off.
