Kanawha Steel & Equipment Company, a Charleston, West Virginia based surface mining supply company was acquired by Logan Corp. in July 1993. Logan Hardware Company was founded on February 29, 1904 in Logan, West Virginia. The store distributed everything from farm equipment, to household goods, to mining supplies. The combined companies provide customers with a full range of supplies and equipment for underground and surface mining, rail transport, industrial plants and construction projects.
In 1995 saw the merging of Kanawha Steel and Logan into one corporation. With branch operations in Charleston, Clarksburg and Huntington, West Virginia; Middlesboro and Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Logan Corporation also maintains a fabrication/machine shop and bulk lubrication services, for their many customers.
A wide range of quality lines is distributed with a high degree of efficiency. Logan Corporation has been providing quality products and service to a broad customer base including mining, industrial and construction.

Logan Corporation's Locomotive Renewal Parts Division is located in Huntington, West Virginia, situated adjacent to our corporate headquarters. Our parts warehouse is a modern, state-of-the-art facility where we inventory an extensive stock of replacement parts to support our varied product lines. Our customer service personnel are factory trained and are specialists in their marketing areas.
