East Perry Lumber is family owned and operated. The company was founded in 1945 by Marvin F. Petzoldt and is now managed by the second and third generations of the family.
The logs are brought to the yard in Frohna, Missouri and put through sawmills where they focus on grade sawing. Each board is inspected and certified lumber inspector. This is to ensure dependable quality and to follow through with consistent, first-class lumber.
Company serves customers from all over the world. They have a minimum order of 700 board feet. Company offers surfacing on two sides to prefer thickness as well as straight line ripping.  When they manufacture the lumber from the log, no waste is produced. The bark is ground up and sold as landscaping mulch. The sawdust is collected and used for boiler fuel, animal bedding, and other miscellaneous items.  Unusable ends and edges from the lumber are chipped into wood chips, which are sold to paper making companies.
East Perry Lumber Company also boasts an aggressive tree planting program. They are working to establish hundreds of acres of new forests on company lands by planting various seedling species annually, which they manage on a sustainable basis. They believe in forests for their future and sustain forests to ensure abundant, healthy and valuable forests for many years to come.
Company knows that their forests and trees are renewable resources. Wood products come from a resource that grows, matures and is replanted and renewed for future generations. An average single-family home contains over 13,000 board feet of lumber.  94 percent of all new homes are built with wood frames. Wood is a more environmentally sensitive building material - from the raw material source to the construction site.
Professionalism continues with companyÂâ€Ã¢„¢s logging operations. All of their loggers are certified by The Professional Timber Harvester Program of Missouri and consistently practice professional logging techniques.

Company strive for perfection in lumber, this principle carries through to other aspects of their business. East Perry Lumber Company has one of the cleanest and most well kept lumber yards.
