Behnke Inc


Carl H. Behnke founded Behnke, Inc. in the early 1930's. Carl had grown up on a farm north of Marshall, graduated from Marshall High School in 1926, and started his trucking and warehousing business. Though Behnke started small, it soon would become large and very successful. Carl Behnke is seen here moving Harry Blackstone the Magician to a performance at the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium, in Battle Creek, Michigan.

The Trucking Company was moved from its previous location at 77 South Monroe in Battle Creek to their present location at 600 North Helmer Road. The new property was purchased from the Clark Equipment Co. in 1988. This location hosts property houses, modern offices, a repair facility and ample parking for tractors and trailers in an enclosed lot.

Behnke is a Truck Load Carrier specializing in emergency deliveries. They are a 3rd generation, family owned business founded by Carl H. Behnke in 1930. The company travels predominantly in the mid-west states, with authority in all 48 continental states.

Behnke has close to 85 power units and 450 dry van trailers. They are committed to assisting your organization in meeting your dedicated delivery needs.
