Roadmaster Drivers School opened its first school at the Florida State Fairgrounds location in Tampa, Florida in May 1992. In its first year of operation, the company obtained a license to perform as a "Third Party Commercial Driver Licensing Examiner" for the State of Florida. Roadmaster Drivers School is an active member of various state school associations that offer scholarships to individuals making application for consideration. Scholarships are also made available for the spouse of an enrolled student or graduate. Student who are eligible for a scholarship from another source will be assisted by Roadmaster.

Roadmaster is also Approved for Veterans Training. Student eligibility for Veterans Education Benefits is established by the Veterans Administration. Initial eligibility and continued eligibility during enrollment are also determined by the VA.
All Roadmaster truck driving school locations have their own administrative offices, spacious classrooms, and computer labs. The schools maintain specially designed field-driving courses where students practice backing, coupling, uncoupling, and docking. All locations of Roadmaster truck driving school provide equipments for Commercial Driver Licensing (CDL) testing.
