Cressler Trucking Inc. started in the transport industry in 1971 and throughout all these years they have experienced a big growth and expansion in the services they offered. In October 1984 Cressler became a subsidiary of Keen Transport Inc. At that moment, the company had thirty-five employees and one hundred pieces of equipment. Now, the company is made up of two hundred twenty-five hard workers and over five hundred pieces of equipment. They think that this tremendous growth comes from their dedicated service to the clients. The philosophy at Cressler is that the most important goal is the satisfaction of the customer's needs.

 

The Cressler Trucking facility was acquired in June 1994 and it has fifty acres, twenty-five of which they have developed. It has two buildings: the main one has 4500 square feet of offices and 22000 square feet of maintenance. The second one is 40000 square feet of warehouse services. This facility is very modern as it includes axle scales, automatic truck wash, automatic overhead doors opening, protected fueling, showers and many others. This helps maintain their in-house equipment with the highest standards and of course emphasizing the safety of each one of their units.

 

Cressler Trucking offers transportation of any kind of freight and warehousing from their location in Shippensburg, PA. The company is able to handle long and short-term storage, distribution services, loading, unloading, and load transfers, including packaging of overseas containers and other specialized services.

 

The trailer fleet at Cresslet Trucking consists of 3 axle air-ride step decks, mechanical RGNs and 53 air-ride vans, and the tractor fleet is composed of Peterbilt conventional tractors. All of them are equipped with 475 HP Cat engines and the Qualcomm System to provide instant communication with the drivers and the customers freight.
