Hiland Dairy Foods Company began in 1938, in Missouri by Mr. Putman and Mr. Carter. Hiland starts with a gas-powered electric generator to make easy the milking of a 50 cow herd.

The categories for  job are:  clerical position with this requirements:  Data and numeric, entry skills, typing skills50 wpm, basic computer skills and basic math skills; manufacturing and productions are with this requirements: move stacks of product weighing between 240-1,000 pounds for the duration of the shift, continuously stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground, perform basic math skills and work in environments that are wet, humid, very hot (more than 100 F), or very cold (less than 20 F below 0), for extended periods of time; sales and distributions requirements are:  continuously stack and unstack items weighing 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground, drag stacks of product weighing approximately 240 pounds for the duration of the shift, work outdoors in environments that are very hot (more than 100 F) or very cold (less than 32 F), regardless of weather conditions,  possess a valid Class A or Class B drivers license with a safe driving record and have successful route sales experience.
